NEW From Mirasol

Sunday, February 15th, 2015

Spring can be a mixed bag of tricks, some days the sun warms you from the tips of your toes right up to the top of your head and other days, the wind can be as fierce as a high-spirited stallion rearing up into the stormy skies.  With all the weather-related changes in store for us, its nice to have a few new transitional pieces of knitwear to look forward to.

Here is a sampling of what’s NEW from Mirasol-

Simple in construction, this design has a boxy shape with eyelet border detail and an openwork pattern that offers a pleasing balance of coverage for cool days and a light airiness for warmer days.  Knit in Mirasol’s newest quality Pima Kuri, a creamy-smooth worsted weight cotton available now in eighteen trendy solids.  Evening Dove (shown above).

A contemporary t shirt with a softly-pleated front for a loose comfortable fit, designed to knit up quickly in two easy pieces with no added finishing.  Knit in Pima Kuri, a superior quality cotton overflowing with bright and happy shades like Japanese Maple (shown above).

Welcome back Nuna!  One of Mirasol’s springtime favorites for a perfect combination of lightweight warmth and silky texture that knitters cannot get enough of.  This eye-catching design is sleek in symmetry and has the alluring look of crochet.  Knit in Nuna.  Butternut (shown above).

A dressy sampler top, ideal for wearing under a jacket at work, or as the weather dictates, letting the sun warm up those bare shoulders.  Knit in Nuna, a blend of merino, silk and bamboo sourced viscose.  Look for six fresh new hues on store shelves this spring.  Steel Blue (shown above).

This beech leaf poncho just goes with the flow, starting as an early spring cover up over long sleeve tops and following the shift in temperature as a light layering piece over tank tops.  Knit in Sulka Legato, Mirasol’s finest gauge blend of merino, silk and alpaca, now introducing eight deep rich shades to spice up the spectrum.  Chocolate (shown above).

This darling duo covers the bases from morning to night, with a sleeveless shell knit in a stretchy rib, partnered up with a filmy little capelet that just floats over top.  Knit in Sulka LegatoAqua (shown above).
