A sparkling jewel along the Mediterranean coast, Amalfi is a stunning contrast in beauty adorned with posh mountaintop villas and rugged cliffs that plunge into the brilliant blue sea.  This pretty little town with its vivacious personality bustles as a tourist mecca during the summer months but it also harbors a secret past.  Amalfi once had a population of more than seventy thousand until an earthquake in 1343 caused an enormous chunk of land to slide into the sea.  Today it takes less than half an hour to walk the entire town.

Amalfi is a sun-dappled cotton yarn from Sirdar spun into a classic double knitting weight.  Each of the eight captivating shades is infused with a filament of viscose wound tightly around the cotton core to create a shimmering jolt of contrasting colour.
