Tonals

Tonals are currently a hot trend, the salt and pepper of the yarn world and also a thing of beauty.  This remarkable dye technique is achieved by use of a large vat or kettle.  The yarn is immersed into a single colour dye bath and the outcome is a fascinating interplay of light and dark tones which create the illusion of shadows and highlights.  This Fall, Debbie Bliss introduces Cashmerino Aran Tonals to knitters as an addition to her existing Cashmerino range, in a three-way blend of wool, cashmere and acrylic spun with a smooth even ply.
