Sapphire Flower Headband

The gift list is dwindling down to the last scribble of names, and still there is a stack of gifts to wrap, cookies to bake and a tangle of yarn ends to sew in before the yuletide festivities.  Trying to keep up with all the last minute projects can get a little overwhelming especially when the selection of yarns is so enticing, and the pattern inspiration, well it just never sleeps.  At this point on the calendar, the trick is to keep it simple by picking beautiful yarns to knit smaller luxury items that are less time-consuming.

To countdown the month before Christmas we are featuring five FREE patterns in total that take no more than an evening or two to knit and yield this season’s trendiest selection of head-to-toe accessories all set to tuck under the tree.  Each week one new design will be in the spotlight right here featuring some of our most favorite yarns.

WEEK FOUR- Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful, and since we’ve no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…….while it is toasty warm inside and a new knitting project is underway, a cosy headband adorned with a flower in deep sapphire blue.
